Mosaac - Path To Sustainability (Part 1)

As a business, Sustainable investing is a Core Ethos that we consider for our clients, and we have long talked about how we can be more sustainable as a firm in a more general sense. In 2021, we decided to take the bull by the horns and start to plan out a roadmap towards becoming what we would be proud to call “Sustainable”.

This year has been full of developments so far, with some big things still to come. We have now launched a Sustainability committee, which meets regularly to discuss things we can do within the company to reduce our carbon footprint and look at ways we can help work towards a more sustainable planet. We are very proud to be a firm of Independent Financial Advisers in Yorkshire, and we want to do our part to protect the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and beyond.

We have currently split our goals into four main areas:

1. Reducing our Carbon Footprint

2. Improving access to ethical investing for our clients

3. Helping in the local area

4. Building relationships with sustainable charities

We have decided to map our progress throughout this journey in a series of Blog Posts entitled “Mosaac – Path to Sustainability” and we look forward to keeping you updated on our successes (and failures!) in this exciting new adventure!
